Privacy Policy
Service Export Saathi (“Saathi”, “we”, “us”) is operated by IndaPoint Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Office No. 311-315, Ananta Stallion, Gotri Sevasi Road, Vadodara 391101, Gujarat, India. This policy explains what we collect when you use the website serviceexportsaathi.com and the app at app.serviceexportsaathi.com, why, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details – your name, work email, company name and a securely hashed password. If you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive only your name, email address and Google account ID (scopes
openid email profile). We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data. - Touch ID / passkeys – if you turn them on, we store only a public key and device label. Your fingerprint never leaves your device.
- Business information you enter – such as legal name, address, PAN, IEC, GSTIN, bank name and account number, authorised signatory and contact details.
- Documents and transaction data – invoices you upload or create, customer names, addresses and emails, amounts, service descriptions, SAC and purpose codes, and the declarations, PDFs and spreadsheets we generate for you.
- Payments – if you buy a plan, payment is handled by Razorpay. We receive the order and payment reference and amount; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank login details.
- Technical data – IP address, browser type, timestamps and security and audit logs (for example sign-ins and document generation).
Why we use it
- To provide the service: prepare invoices and export declaration drafts and remember your confirmed answers for next time.
- To read uploaded invoices: invoice content is sent to our AI provider to extract fields such as amounts and dates. You review every value before it is used.
- To sign you in securely, prevent abuse and keep audit records.
- To process payments and issue GST tax invoices.
- To answer support requests and send essential service messages.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or show ads in the product.
Who processes it for us
We use these service providers, each bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us:
- Google Cloud – app hosting, database and backups, in the Mumbai (asia-south1) region.
- Amazon Web Services – storage of uploaded and generated files, in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region.
- OpenAI – AI extraction of invoice details; this processing may take place outside India. Data sent through OpenAI’s API is not used to train their models.
- Razorpay – payment processing.
- Cloudflare – website delivery and security.
- Google – “Continue with Google” sign-in, only if you choose it.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and service.
Google user data
Saathi’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use your Google name and email only to create and sign in to your Saathi account.
Cookies and local storage
We use only essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in and, if you tick “Remember me”, a 30-day sign-in cookie. The app may remember the last email you signed in with in your browser’s local storage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data from the live service within 30 days; encrypted backups expire within a further 90 days. We may keep records we must retain by law, such as tax invoices for paid plans.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, access is restricted, secrets are kept in a managed secret store, and we keep daily backups. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password or Touch ID and keep your devices safe.
Your rights
You can access and correct most information in the app yourself. You can also ask us to provide a copy of your data, correct it, delete your account, or withdraw consent, by writing to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Children
Saathi is for businesses and professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email.
