Why now
Under the RBI notification FEMA 23(R)/2026-RB, in force from 1 October 2026, service exports may need an Export Declaration Form (EDF) filed through your bank. For a service invoice, the EDF is generally due within 30 days after the end of the month of the invoice — for October 2026 invoices, generally by 30 November 2026. Your bank’s requirements always apply.
